It's a Brick.... HOUSE!

:) Tyler and I have been looking for houses for awhile now- getting geared up to leave my childhood bedroom at my parents house and get a place of our own! We had looked around at a few but the "brick house" caught our attention!
Well, the offer has been accepted and the move "in" date is April 30th! I am posting a few pictures from the realty sites- but will post loads more when we get in & start putting our own touch on the place! :) We are both so overjoyed and ready for another chapter in our lives! Now you all will have a place to come and stay!!!!! Book your flights! :)

I will be leaving soon for Cloud 9- Pendleton, Coors Light, Tyler, Dane, Jason & Luke = all of my favorites in a room- I might have to add a pomegranate margarita in there too! Can't wait! :)

Swamped! :)

I know- this blog can't really service if I don't post on it!!! WELL! It's only been a month- ish.. right?! :)
Work is an amazing blur! I feel so blessed to be working in the field I wanted to be in- and a fifteen minute drive from Ontario! What a blessing- I have already learned so much and am busy! I have been building a great relationship with the other Graphic Designer who has been in the industry for 20 + years. It's amazing to have someone who is willing to teach you, it's kind of like school in the way that I'm always learning something new, but this time I get to do my work and get paid! I can't wait to do it for the rest of my life! The trucking industry is also a very interesting thing to be involved in- I have learned everything and more about Trucking in these 2 months- more than I ever knew their was! It's a great field! :) I'm still at Brewsky's and am loving the hustle after sitting down all day- needless to say, Tyler and I are very close to saving up the amount we want for a house!
Unfortunately, the opposite schedules are not keeping us close. We see each other a good 4 days a week, depending, but those days are really a few hours! We have learned how to take advantage of a few hours and have gone on some great dates in those hours! He's still working his butt off- but next week we are going to the Jason Aldean concert & taking advantage of a weekend! I even have Saturday off of Brewskys & the hotel is in walking distance of bars and the concert- should be a good time!
Last weekend was the Ontario Fireman's Ball and we had a blast! They held it at the new Armory, which is spectacular inside, and the turn out was incredible. Tyler also got a little bang for his buck.
Ten minutes before a very nice raffle Tyler went to buy a ticket. He drew a 9- which means he paid 9 bucks for the ticket- and ten minutes later came out with a brand new .17! Very much worth our 49 dollars ( plus a few beers I may have had!) I got to spend time with Kristy, and Tyler had to pry me out of there- we could have talked the night away sitting on the meat freezers!

Anyways- Life is good! :)
